Houston Traffic: Overturned 18-wheel lane closures on Highway 59 near FM 529 in Rosenberg, Texas

ROSENBERG, Texas (KTRK) — An overturned 18-wheeler blocks lanes in both directions on the main lanes of Autobahn 59 at FM 529 in Rosenberg.

The incident was reported around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday

SkyEye recorded video at the scene as crews worked to clean up the huge mess.

What appeared to be some sort of liquid had spilled northbound, blocking several lanes of traffic in that direction.

Southbound traffic will be diverted outbound from FM 529 as drivers head toward Rosenberg. Motorists are urged to take US 90 as an alternate route.

As of 6:45 a.m. there were no delays, but it is possible that traffic will deteriorate.
