Houston lost dog: Maltese shih-tzu mix named Mila stolen when car thief steals Jaguar XF in East Downtown

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) — In East Downtown, a car theft victim says her vehicle is the least of her worries. The thief drove away with her dog and she is still missing.

Neha Wooten said she received a call from the Houston Police Department early Tuesday afternoon telling her her car had turned up in Pasadena. However, her dog Mila was nowhere to be found.

Surveillance video of a gas station shows the theft.

“He rushes to the car, jumps in, and takes off,” Wooten said.

The video is a lead she has to help her and the authorities find Mila. The small, white dog can be seen in the passenger seat of a black Jaguar XF on Monday morning.
