Houston crime: Robbery suspect wanted for stealing man’s money from ATM on Meyerland Plaza, police say

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) — It seems thieves aren’t even waiting for it to get completely dark outside to commit robberies, according to a recent Houston Police Department report. A man was allegedly robbed while sitting in his vehicle at an ATM in Meyerland Plaza.

The robbery happened around 8:30 p.m. on September 3, police said. You’ve just released a surveillance photo of the wanted suspect.
Police said the suspect suddenly approached the victim while pointing a gun at him and demanding his money. The victim did what was asked of him.
The perpetrator then got on a bicycle and drove away in an unknown direction.
Police described him as a white male, about 5ft 6in tall, weighed 150lbs and had blue eyes. He was last seen in all black.

About three weeks later, another ATM robbery occurred in southwest Houston. In this case, the victim’s screams startled the robber, causing him to run across the street.
