Houston Astros: Jeremy Peñas home run defeated the Seattle Mariners to propel the MLB team to the next round

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) — The Houston Astros enter the American League Champion Series for the 6th year in a row! The Astros’ official team store at Union Station will open Sunday for fans to pick up their gear.

Saturday night’s game made many of us think it was going to last forever. And it almost did, taking six hours and 22 minutes to be exact.

Rookie shortstop Jeremy Peña may be the biggest star in Houston on Sunday after Astros’ 18th-inning home run won the game and swept the Seattle Mariners into the next round.

We don’t yet know who the Astros will play next, but it will be either the Yankees or the Cleveland Guardians.

Tickets are already on sale and the first game is here in Houston at Minute Maid Park on Wednesday.

General admission tickets are now around $150 and appear to be increasing.

After the ALDS sweep, the Astros announced that they will be opening the Union Station Team Store. The Team Store opens at 9am and closes at 2pm on Sunday 16th October.
