HCCSC: ‘No credibility’ of threat against Huntington North High School

HUNTINGTON, Indiana (WANE) — The Huntington County Community School Corporation (HCCSC) released a statement Thursday night regarding a reported threat to Huntington North High School (HNHS).

According to HCCSC Twitter postHNHS administrators have been alerted to a potential threat to HNHS for Friday, November 18th.

After HCCSC learned of the threat, they notified local police, who investigated the situation and felt the threat was not credible.

However, HNHS still plans to have an increased police presence at the school on Friday as an extra precaution.

HCCSC says it will remain vigilant in monitoring any future safety concerns.
