YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has been making waves within the square circle. If you can follow his recent comments, he’s far from done. Paul recently stated on social media that he wants to return to the ring in August 2022.

In a recently uploaded Instagram post, ‘The Problem Child’ explained that he is looking forward to facing his next opponent, to be announced, in August this year. He also posted a video of himself working on his strike.

In the Post, he announced that he would like to improve his record to 6-0 next time he steps into the ring. Paul currently has a professional record of 5-0.

Paul was last in the ring in a rematch against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. The scrap took place back in December 2021 at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

The Cleveland native managed to outsmart Woodley and emerged victorious after recording a highlight reel knockout in the sixth round. The win was his fifth straight win. However, he was constantly criticized for not fighting professional boxers.

While Jake Paul has expressed keen interest in donning the promoter’s hat and working behind the scenes with his Most Valuable Promotions team, he recently alluded to a move to the NFL as he retired from boxing.

Paul admitted as much while sending a powerful message to his critics on Twitter. He argued that boxing fans and purists often declared his prospects in the square were bleak. Despite this, he managed to achieve considerable success.

Similarly, he envisions great success on the football field after moving to the NFL.
