Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy rolls in ditch while pursuing car theft suspects in east Houston, investigators say
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) — According to investigators, two carjacking suspects led deputies on a chase that ended in an accident in east Harris County.

The chase began around 6 a.m. Sunday at the 1100 block of Freeport Street.
The suspects crashed the stolen vehicle during the chase, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said an HCSO MP’s vehicle rolled into a ditch after trying to stop and avoid a collision.
The deputy suffered minor injuries and is said to be in good health.
The two carjacking suspects were arrested, according to the sheriff’s office.
No other injuries were reported.
