Harris County deputies find two dead women in a home in the Katy area at the Gingham Check Court

KATY, Texas (KTRK)– Deputies conducting a welfare check in West Harris County Monday afternoon found the bodies of two women.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed an investigation was launched after units responded at 4:26 p.m. to the 4900 block of the Gingham Check Court, located near Westfield Village Drive and Kieth Harrow Boulevard

At least one of the women appeared to have signs of trauma, Gonzalez said.

The sheriff’s office didn’t say if the deputies were looking for anyone or if arrests were made.

Crime scene and homicide detectives have been called to the home, which contains a Katy address.
