Grace College to offer free tuition to Indiana families making less than or equal to $65,000 per year

WINONA LAKE, Indiana (WANE) – Grace College recently announced plans to offer free tuition to Hoosier families with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $65,000 or less.

Grace plans to pay tuition through a combination of federal, state, and institutional aid, beginning with new students in the fall of 2023.

In addition to family financial measures, Indiana residents must also complete the Free Federal Student Assistance Application (FAFSA) before the state deadline.

“We have many students who meet the criteria and live nearby,” said Dr. Mark Pohl, Vice President of Enrollment Management. “That means tuition is covered without student loans. Hundreds of our already admitted students are qualifying, and many have plans to attend Grace this fall.”

Grace offers over 100 majors, minors, certificates, and graduate programs and provides a path to complete almost any bachelor’s degree in three years.

The award applies to both residential and commuting students.

“It’s really a game changer for a lot of families,” Pohl said. “Students who otherwise might not be able to attend college can now attend a Christian liberal arts school and choose from over 100 majors and minors to study in a Christ-centered environment.”
