Glasgow: Police officer hospitalized after ‘riot’
Officers were called around 9.45pm on Saturday about rioting on Gordon Street.
According to the police, two men aged 39 have now been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
Both men are due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 9.45pm on Saturday 2 September 2023 officers observed a riot involving two men on Gordon Street in Glasgow.
“A police officer was injured in the incident. He was taken to the hospital and discharged after treatment.
“Two men, 39, have been arrested and charged in connection with this incident and are due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff’s Court on Monday 4 September.
“A report will be submitted to the prosecutor.”
