The park is just outside the resort of Salou on the Costa Dorada, Spain.

With over 40 rides PortAventura has something for everyone.

If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, the park has some of the highest and fastest roller coasters in Europe.

You could hop on The Dragon Khan and Shambhala, for example – but it’s not for the faint of heart, as the coaster tops out at over 70 mph and drops more than 240 feet.

The park is divided into six themed areas: SésamoAventura, China, Polynesia, Far West, Mexico and Mexico City.

If you’re visiting with the little ones, SésamoAventura is a must, with attractions, games and mini-rides based on Sesame Street characters.

The park also has another section called Ferrari Land and a separate water park, Caribe Aquatic Park.

Everything in Ferrari Land follows a car theme, of course, and you can find many rides to enjoy.

The whole family can ride a 570 meter race track or ride the Red Force, a launch coaster that accelerates from 0 to 180 km/h in just five seconds.

You will also find state-of-the-art simulators for authentic F1 driving experiences.

Caribe Aquatic Park is a Caribbean-style water park that features a variety of rides, water slides, and wave pools.

There are indoor and outdoor options for younger kids so they don’t feel left out if they don’t meet the height requirements for the big slides.

It is worth noting that the water park is only open in the summer months. In 2023 it will be open from May 27th to September 10th.
