Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry screams in horror when he’s covered in bugs in the quest I’m a Scarecrow

GEORDIE Shore star Nathan Henry screams in fear after being covered in a barrage of bugs.

The 32-year-old MTV favorite is filming the version of I’m A Celebrity Australia in South Africa, confirming last month’s report by The Sun that he was in talks to join the series.

However, just two days after his arrival, Nathan was greeted by some very scary creatures.

In the Tomb Of Terror challenge, which was teased on Instagram, Nathan can be seen wearing a red top and helmet while crawling through a tunnel before bugs fall on him.

After smashing his way through, he’s forced to stick his hand in a series of holes, one of which contains some slimy frogs, to secure stars for camp.

Later, after securing another meal for himself, he pulls a string to reach another star, only to be plunged through a trapdoor into a pool of water.

It remains to be seen whether that will shake him up – and how many stars he can secure for the camp.

Last week, Nathan shared the news of his new TV appearance on Instagram.

He posted a video taken just before he left for the jungle.

A shirtless Nathan said in the clip: “Morning everyone if you’re seeing this then obviously the news has broken that I’m going into the jungle to do ‘I’m A Celebrity Australia’. I think that’s the car outside waiting to be picked up on me.

“I’m so excited, I’m so nervous, this is the biggest secret I’ve ever kept and you know I have a very big mouth. I hope I make Britain proud and I hope everyone votes for me to win. I’m getting a little emotional, what the hell.”

He signed by adding: “I’ll go anyway but thanks and n but I hope you guys enjoy it. I’m going to the damn jungle, what the hell.”

His co-stars rushed to congratulate him.

“Well done Nathan!!! Go smash it,” wrote Marnie Simpson.

Vicky Pattison, who appeared on the Down Under version of the show alongside Charlotte Crosby, added: “Smash it son.”
