Gasoline and diesel prices will remain unchanged from March 9th to 15th
KUALA LUMPUR: Petrol and diesel retail prices of 97 RON and 95 RON remain unchanged for the week of March 9-15.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) said in a statement today that the price would remain at RON 97, RON 95 (RM2.05) and diesel (RM2.15) at RON97 per liter.
“To protect consumers from the global oil price hike, the government will maintain the maximum price of RON 95 at RM 2.05 per liter and diesel at RM 2.15 per liter, although the market price for the two products has risen above the current cap is price,” it said.
The MOF added that the government will continue to monitor trends in global crude oil prices and will take appropriate measures to ensure the continued well-being and well-being of the people. -Bernama
