FWPD seeks ID man in shooting investigation

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Police Department has asked for the public’s help to identify a man as part of an “ongoing shootout.”

Police released two photos of a man in a blue coat, jeans and white sneakers. The department said its homicide squad was trying to identify “the man in the photos in relation to an ongoing shooting investigation.”

It’s not clear what shooting the man is linked to, or if he’s a suspect or person of interest. No further information was released by the department.
