FKA Twigs Attends ‘The Crow’ Reboot – Billboard

FKA Twigs, the British singer-dancer-turned-actress, stars in the reboot and reimagining of The crowthe supernatural revenge thriller directed by Rupert Sanders.
Bill Skarsgård, who played Pennywise the Clown in the film It Horror Movies, is at the forefront of the project, which has seen numerous iterations and close encounters over the years of development.
Crow was an indie comic written and drawn by James O’Barr in the late 1980s that told the dark tale of a man and his fiancé who were attacked and killed by a gang after the couple’s car broke down. The man is revived by a crow and exacts revenge on those who took the life of him and his love.
Twigs plays the girlfriend/fiancée. The role was not significant in the original film, but sources say the role was recast as a co-lead in this reimagining. It’s unclear if the character never quite dies, perhaps returns in a supernatural form, or is even a representation of the crow himself.
crow Filming is scheduled to begin in June, with production set to take place in Prague and Munich.
It is produced by Victor Hadida, Molly Hassell, John Jencks and Edward R. Pressman. Dan Farah is executive producer on the project.
Twigs released a mixtape album titled earlier this year capris songs and had a song on The king’s man Soundtrack.
