FIRST HARD FREEZE
Next comes the first hard frost or when temperatures drop below 28°. On average, this happens a little later in the season on October 21st. In 2021, the first hard frost lasted until November 3rd.

TEMPERATURES THIS WEEK

For those who fear winter, there is good news for you! Temperatures are getting warmer again this week with highs in the 60’s and even 70’s. This keeps low temperatures well above the freezing mark. It looks like we’ll wait a little longer with this hard freeze.
