Fans have been arrested by police after West Ham supporters attacked in Prague
According to police, Italian fans attacked West Ham fans at a bar in the country’s capital, injuring three people.
It was also confirmed that a police officer had been assaulted in the incident.

After the clash, 16 people were arrested as police restricted “the personal freedom” of those alleged to be involved.
A translation of a Czech police tweet read: “Italian fans attacked West Ham fans in a bar on Rytirska Street, injuring three.” A police officer was also attacked. We have restricted the personal freedom of 16 people and are currently investigating the entire incident.”
A burned-out chair and broken glass lay on the floor outside the Tek’ila Tek’ila bar in the city center.
A West Ham fan, who asked not to be named, said “a large group” of Italian fans attacked the bar.
“About eight Italians walked by brandishing ribbons and chains,” he said.

“Five minutes later, a large group came down the street and attacked us.”
The man said five West Ham fans were injured.
He said: “Three of our comrades (were injured), five of the whole force. Three of them were our friends. You went to the hospital.”
He added that one of his friends was injured “rather badly” with a “massive laceration” to the head.
Videos were also shared on social media, apparently showing people throwing chairs at each other in Prague on Wednesday.
