FA Cup fourth round draw: Manchester United host Reading, Spurs play Preston and Manchester City could take on Arsenal

In the FA Cup fourth round, Manchester United host Reading, Brighton & Hove Albion meet Liverpool or Wolves and Preston North End host Tottenham Hotspur.

The biggest shock of the third round undoubtedly came in Coventry City, when non-League Wrexham beat their Championship opponents in a remarkable 4-3 away win. Wrexham were rewarded with a home game against another Championship side, with Sheffield United being their fourth-round opponents.

Premier League Newcastle United were also knocked out by a side from the lower division, with League One Sheffield Wednesday beating Eddie Howe’s side at Hillsborough 2-1. Wednesday meets Fleetwood Town in the fourth round.

There are three third round matches to play. Manchester City’s Cup second leg against Chelsea and Stevenage’s trip to Aston Villa start later today, while Arsenal travel to Oxford United tomorrow. The winner of Chelsea’s trip to City meets the winner of Oxford v Arsenal.

Round 4 matches will take place between January 27th and January 30th.
