EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt is unrecognizable as he shows off a huge beard in new selfie

Although the 54-year-old actor claimed to have fixed his beard a bit for his latest snap, he still looked worlds apart from Albert Square and his character Ian Beale.
Adam appeared in the touring production of My Fair Lady and told his Instagram followers he was in dire need of a beard trim.
Alongside the new selfie, Adam wrote: “A much needed beard maintenance after playing Alfred P. Doolittle in @myfairladyuk since September.”
He also joked that his new beard would allow him to run faster after confirming he would start training for the London Marathon.
Adam will run the marathon in support of his former co-star Barbara Windsor, who sadly passed away in 2020.
He added: “Now for a @londonmarathon workout. Please follow @babsarmy to support and encourage us all ahead of April 23rd.
“I hope I can run faster with my new streamlined beard!!”
The star was recently spotted donning his finest lycra for his workout.
He was joined by his former EastEnders co-star Tanya Franks, who stars on the soap opera Rainie Highway.
They were preparing for the London Marathon with Barbara’s devoted husband Scott Mitchell to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
They are part of a team of EastEnders stars past and present called Babs’ Army, which also includes Jake Wood and Natalie Cassidy.
The trio walked in Regents’ Park for a feature on ITV’s regional news program London Tonight.
