Dwayne Johnson’s look-alike has him showering the rock in praise

As one of the most famous faces in the world, Dwayne Johnson just doesn’t have the time to meet all of its adoring fans, but there are at least other methods for the adoring masses to come face-to-face with their hero. Well, something like that.

Even peers in the professional wrestling industry are dying to meet the pioneering in-ring icon, even if it didn’t quite turn out the way they envisioned. All-elite wrestling grapple John Silver recently shared his sarcastic enthusiasm at being one-on-one with The Rock, leading to the man himself pouring glowing praise for… himself.

It’s ironic that Johnson was referring to the clog that graces his face when he’s downed a few too many shots of Teremana tequila, when there were more than a handful of social media users literally described him as “a baby with constipation” when he was caught sharing a table with the existentially miserable Ben Affleck at the Grammys.

Perhaps one day Silver will actually meet the 50-year-old in person, but for now he has to deal with a somewhat terrifying waxwork replica that looks like it doesn’t even know what a hierarchy of power is, even if the iteration is made of flesh and blood of Black Adam Star did a terrible job trying to change one personally.

Self-promotion is one thing, but Dwayne Johnson taking the time to praise The Rock is a whole other level of the meta.
