Donald Trump speaks at the WI Primary in Waukesha

WAUKESHA, Wisc. – Donald Trump supporters flocked to the Waukesha County Fair Grounds in Wisconsin on Friday.

Trump should appear and try to motivate conservative voters ahead of next week’s state primary.

Wisconsin represents a critical swing state in the upcoming midterm elections.

In the 2020 presidential election, President Joe Biden defeated Trump by just over 20,000 votes — a less than 1% margin of victory.

One of the biggest themes in the crowd before Trump’s appearance was unease about the economy, despite new jobs data released by the US Department of Labor showing unemployment at 3.5%, a 50-year low.

“I’m just a simple truck driver,” said Sean Fleming, one of the participants concerned about the economy. “I am married with four children and a wife and I can no longer pay taxes.”

Wisconsin is one of four primary elections Tuesday next week, with ten more between then and the Nov. 8 midterm election. Donald Trump speaks at the WI Primary in Waukesha
