DJ shoots man dead after fight broke out outside Jalisco Sports Bar in north Harris County on Airline Drive, lawmakers say

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (KTRK) — Authorities are searching for a DJ accused of shooting dead a man during a bar fight in north Harris County on Sunday night.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office officials said around 10:30 p.m. a fight broke out between two men at the Jalisco Sports Bar at 9501 Airline Drive.

MPs said the fight continued in the parking lot when a DJ working at the bar grabbed his gun, went outside and shot one of the men multiple times.

The DJ and the other man involved in the altercation reportedly fled the scene.

Officials said the victim was hospitalized and expected to survive.

MPs said they are now looking for the DJ.
