KUALA LUMPUR: The investigative paper into videos believed to involve a former senior police officer and his wife, which recently went viral on social media, has been opened and sent to the assistant prosecutor’s office, police said.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim (Picture) said they were still waiting for feedback.
“We sent (the investigation paper) and they (the prosecutors) need time to review the case,” he said in a news conference after attending a town hall meeting as part of the 216th at KL Wellness City in Bukit Jalil, here, today.
He was asked to comment on the development of the investigation into the viral videos showing the couple arguing.
Regarding the investigation into the discovery of 13 copies of Al-Quran believed to have been deliberately thrown down a drain here in Jinjang on February 19, Azmi said the case is still under investigation. -Bernama
