Welcome to SunSport’s live blog coverage of the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge – Kostas here and I’ll bring you all the action from the capital.

Under normal circumstances, this is a match between two title contenders, but this year we have to settle for two teams hoping for nothing but the best possible result – or the least worst.

The Blues face their first game in the dugout with interim manager Bruno Saltor after he replaced Graham Potter, who was sacked just two days ago.

Saltor will be without Armando Broja, Thiago Silva and captain Cesar Azpilicueta, all of whom are out with knee injuries.

Edouard Mendy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are also likely to be sidelined with finger and back problems respectively.

Saltor could be set for a boost, however, as Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana make strong arguments for shaking off a hamstring problem.

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp will be without Calvin Ramsay (knee) and Stefan Bajcetic (adductors), while Naby Keita is at risk of missing the rest of the season with a muscle injury.

Luis Diaz and Thiago Alcantara will also miss out with knee and hip injuries respectively.
