Chaitra Navratri starts today; Celebrations across India on Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Navreh – The Economic Times Video

Gudi Padwa coincides with the first day of Chaitra Navratra and festivals like Sajibu Cheiraoba, Navreh, Cheti Chand and Ugadi celebrated in different parts of the country. Today also marks the Hindu New Year according to the Vikram Samwat calendar. Chaitra Navratri or Vasant Navratri is celebrated during the spring season and is considered an important nine-day festival for Hindus.
