Chahal makes an intriguing response to Aakash Chopra’s tweet

Rajasthan Royals (RR) leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal had an interesting reaction to Aakash Chopra’s recent proposal on Twitter. The former Indian Test opener tweeted Sunday night that 100-yard sixes should get eight runs instead of six.

This comes after Chopra witnessed Punjab Kings hitter Liam Livingstone hit a 108-yard six against CSK while hitting 60 runs in the first innings.

Here is what Aakash Chopra said:

“100+ yard sixes should get an 8.”

Yuzvendra Chahal took note of Chopra’s suggestion and provided an appropriate response to the tweet. The leg spinner recommended that a batter should be declared out when three consecutive points are delivered.

He answered:

“Three point balls should be 1 Wicket Bhaiya”

Yuzvendra Chahal will face his former franchisee RCB in his next IPL 2022 match

Ahead of the 2022 IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) parted ways with Chahal as they are not keeping him nor have they shown any interest in buying him back at auction later.

Subsequently, the Rajasthan Royals signed the talented leg spinner at the mega auction.

The 31-year-old has been in superb form at the 2022 IPL, having played a pivotal role in both of his team’s victories so far. Chahal currently ranks third on the Purple Cap list with five wickets from two competitions.
