It looks like Cardi B is continuing to walk away from social media. During the 2022 Grammys on Sunday evening (April 3), the rapper deactivated her Twitter account, and now her Instagram profile is no longer active.
While Cardi, who won her first Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2019, for violation of privacyShe gave no insight into her reasoning before breaking off on Instagram, the decision was made shortly after she did the same with her Twitter profile.

“I’m not going to an award if I don’t have a new song or my album isn’t coming out…next year,” she tweeted at the start of the back-and-forth, insisting to fans that she had never even hinted, that she would be present at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. (Not that it mattered much in the end. The award that Cardi was up for went to Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar for their “Family Ties” collaboration.)
However, Cardi became increasingly angered when fans refused to accept her reasoning, eventually declaring, “By god I hate this friggin’ fandom. You got the slow fool, he’s dragging all my kids cuz you all were even though I went to the Grammys and I didn’t do the f- ? When the f- I indicated I was leaving? just f-in stupid I can’t, I have to protect myself house and I’m in NY.”
