His assist for Martinelli’s goal helped him achieve an impressive milestone
His assist for the Gabriel Martinelli goal and Arsenal’s first against Crystal Palace saw him score in double-digit goals and assists.
Saka is the first Premier League player to do so this season, with the 21-year-old shining for the Gunners.
He is certainly Arsenal’s next rising star and his efforts this season have equaled a record last matched by Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean became the youngest player to score ten goals and provide ten assists for Arsenal in the 2016/17 season.
Sanchez finished this season with 24 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League, a tally Saka may not be able to match.
However, he has once again proved crucial in their title fights as the winger scored the Palace goal himself just before half-time.
The goal was his 21st league contribution this season and put him third behind Erling Haaland (33) and Harry Kane (23).

Sanchez was the last Gunners star to pull off such a feat
Martin Odegaard is likely the next Arsenal player to also be in double figures, with the Norwegian having ten goals and seven assists.
If they continue those efforts through the end of the season, the Gunners could claim their first title since 2004.
Granit Xhaka scored his second goal in as many games to make it 3-0 for Arsenal before Jeffrey Schlupp could bring one back for Palace.
However, Saka hit the back of the net for the second time to allay fears of a late comeback from the visitors.
Although they’ve now played a game more than City, they can go into the break knowing they have a comfortable cushion up front.
