Brickworld captures creativity through LEGO in the Colosseum

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) – Brickworld Fort Wayne 2022, a LEGO fan fair, kicked off its weekend celebrations Saturday morning at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
The show features dozens of elaborate exhibits that showcase the vast possibilities with LEGO pieces.
Enthusiasts displayed their creations across 38,000 square feet, ranging from LEGO devices resembling a Rube Goldberg machine to detailed landscapes like a man rowing a boat.
People can also buy LEGO sets, minifigures, and LEGO accessories from a variety of vendors.
Brickworld Executive Director Mark Larson said the event celebrates both creative minds and LEGO fans alike.
“You have the talent to build something, you just don’t know it,” Larson said. “Children can prove it here.”
Saturday’s festivities run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, while Sunday’s show starts at 10:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm
Tickets at the door are $14 for regular customers and $11 for military veterans and first responders.
Children up to 3 years have free entry.
