Black Angus to auction Whittier restaurant art December 5 – Orange County Register

Black Angus Steakhouse has begun selling art that has hung on the walls of its restaurants in a series of auctions.
Some of the photos are by acclaimed cowboy photographer David R. Stoecklein, according to a press release from the Sherman Oaks-based chain.
Photos are matted and framed. Proceeds benefit Art of Elysium, an organization that supports the work of artists helping those in need.
The Southern California auctions will run through Dec. 12, the press release said.
The next auction will be held Monday, December 5 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Whittier’s Black Angus, 15500 Whittier Blvd. and online at go.charityauctionstoday.com/bid/bawhittier
Bids ranged from $50 to $100 at a November 30 auction in Montclair.
Winners must collect their artwork within 48 hours of the purchase period.
Information on other auctions was not available at the time of going to press.
