Billie Eilish announces two “Happier Than Ever” encore shows in her hometown at the Kia Forum – Orange County Register

Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Billie Eilish announced two special shows in her hometown titled Happier Than Ever, The Hometown Encore, marking a celebration of her hugely successful 2022 world tour in support of her second album, Happier Than Ever represent the year 2021.

Eilish made history as the youngest artist to headline the long-running Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio in April, and she also sold out three times that month at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. She will return to the Kia Forum for the encore shows on December 15-16.

The tour has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform and fans can register for the Verified Fan pre-sale on Ticketmaster.com now until Sunday, October 23 at 11:59 p.m. Registered fans, who will receive a unique code, can purchase tickets in advance on Tuesday, October 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. All remaining tickets go on sale on billieeilish.com on Wednesday 26th October at 10:00 am.

“Happier Than Ever” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 in the US and 19 other countries. Both the latest album and their debut When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? were written, produced and recorded entirely by Eilish and her brother Finneas. The now 20-year-old also made history as the youngest artist to receive nominations at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, winning in multiple categories, taking home Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Eilish also performed at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in 2022.

She’s also the youngest artist to write and record an official James Bond theme song, “No Time To Die,” which won an Oscar for Best Original Song this year.
