Big toy store is giving away a free Lego Easter egg – see full list of participating stores

LEGO fans have the chance to craft and keep a free Easter Egg at The Entertainer Stores across the UK this weekend.

Families can build a classic Easter egg, a DOTS egg or a robotic bunny with the bricks provided and then take the creation home.

The Make and Take events will take place on Saturday, April 8th between 2pm and 4pm at 75 selected The Entertainer Stores.

The Easter event is open to both big and small Lego fans while stocks last.

To avoid disappointment, parents are advised to go to their local shop as close to 2pm as possible.

Craig Lowe, Events Coordinator at The Entertainer, said: “Lego is known for encouraging imaginative play and creative adventures for children around the world, so we’re thrilled to give Lego fans the opportunity to attend this egg-citing event at 75 of ours branches at Easter.”

The event aims to help parents keep their children entertained over the Easter holidays without spending money during the cost of living crisis.

Families looking for inexpensive fun this Easter can also head to Ikea.

The Swedish supermarket offers free Easter egg hunts in all stores as well as free face painting for the little ones.

Other events include coloring and free food samples.

Check your local store on the Ikea website for details and times.

At the same time, Smyths Toys are holding Easter parties in all stores on Saturday April 8th from 9am.

During the event, children can receive free Easter-themed treats from Lego and Disney Mini Brands.

Participants also have a chance to win a free 10ft trampoline by filling out their details at the party.
