Beale is focused on Rangers recruiting now that the season is over

The Rangers boss insists the experience against the Buddies was difficult during his time at the Ibrox club.

However, thanks to a double from Fashion Sakala and one from Antonio Colak, they easily took care of Stephen Robinson’s men.

“Except for a moment at the end on Wednesday, the split was good,” Beale said. “It’s always difficult to come here, they’re determined and Stephen organized them, they’ve had good home form.”

“We felt that we needed a lot of possession in the game and that we had to be patient. We tried something new, with Fashion and Rabbi playing really high and wide and our full-backs being flatter. That’s how the goal falls. Ridvan and Fashion actually share a car.” go to practice every day, which is quite an odd combination, but they obviously bring that friendship to the pitch. It was a fantastic pass from Ridvan, I think he’s shown fantastic potential in the last few weeks.

“A mention for John Souttar who has played three games this week and been outstanding. He’s a player we haven’t had all season. I was happy that Antonio scored; we want to be proud of set pieces and we’ve scored some of them.

“He has to stay fit. He was injured when I came in November and has had a few other injuries since. In that position you need someone who is sharp and alert, at best he is. The away game is taking place.” Hibs is the only time he has been fully fit since I’ve been here. He was fantastic in that game.

“At other times we had to look for alternatives and Fashion had to play more as a forward with more focus on him when he was more of a winger. He was also extremely effective during my time here.”

At the summer rebuild, Beale admitted the past few weeks have been the busiest of his career.

He continued: “I wasn’t shocked by anything because I’ve been here before. The added responsibility and time off the pitch managing other areas and recruiting was exhausting.”

“To be honest I’m glad the season is over because that’s all I have to focus on, but with that we’re really in a good position and just waiting for a thing or two to get signed off on. Then we’ will start putting together a new Rangers team.

“However, with a team that has scored over 90 points this year, whereas we have not managed to do that too often in the last 15/20 years. Everything is broken at Rangers again.” [from the outside] So I’m looking forward to fixing it because that’s the perception and I’m not sure if that’s entirely true.

“The team that won the league this year deserved it and they were the standout team but our record is strong and I believe that.” [we’re] an addition to an already good team.
