Arran Lagg Distillery introduces the first single malt whiskey range

Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran is launching its single malts range in May after successfully launching the first batch last autumn.

The first release of the independent distiller’s core range will be the LAGG Single Malt Kilmory Edition, which will become the flagship.

The second in the core range will be the LAGG Single Malt Corriecravie Edition.

Graham Omand, Manager of Lagg Distillery, said: “The Kilmory expression embodies the ‘Lagg House Style’ which focuses on the use of bourbon casks with our peated spirit.

“The Corriecravie offers a real contrast and shows a different side of the LAGG spirit, bringing to the fore notes of sweeter smoke, spice and rich fruit.”
