Ange Postecoglou closes Celtic Treble Talk
Postecoglou was delighted with his side, who clinched 13 straight wins at Tynecastle with goals from Aaron Mooy, Kyogo and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
However, he remains focused on his team’s near-term goals and laughs at any hint that a clean national victory has crossed his mind.

“How many different ways have you asked that question?!” said Postecoglou.
“We’ve got Hibs next week and that’s what we’re focusing on. It’s worked well for us that way and it’s not a throwaway line.
“I get it. I spoke about it before the game, football in Scotland is a cauldron. There’s nobody who doesn’t have an interest or skin in the game. There’s always a lot of noise, a lot of talk.
“Our job is to stay really disciplined and focus on what’s important to us. The lads embraced that, they understand that if you lose sight of the ball you will stumble.
“We never look beyond the next challenge. It’s a cliché, but that’s the only way we can achieve what we want.”
However, Postecoglou conceded that his men would be difficult to stop if they maintained their current form.

“You hit the nail on the head by saying ‘if’ we continue this form,” he said.
“There’s always a chance that if you don’t focus, if you don’t have discipline and if you don’t work hard every day, you won’t make it.
“This group works hard every day and it’s okay if I say that, but we see it out there. You see the end product, but I see it daily from the whole group.
“They push each other to get the best out of themselves. As a result, our performances have been really strong and are getting stronger.
“We look like a stronger and better team every week than we did at the start of the year. And we weren’t a bad team back then.
“The idea now is to get ready for Hibs next week and that’s an important game for us ahead of the break.
“After that we can get our heads down and head for the finish line.”
