Amazon Prime users are just finding that underutilized free benefits can save them money on their iPhone bills

IPHONE owners looking to save a little money could be missing out on a huge benefit right under their noses.

When you have an Amazon Prime account, you get a lot more than cheaper delivery and on-demand TV.

But people tend to forget about Amazon Photos — or even know about it.

The app offers you unlimited photo storage backups.

So if you pay for iCloud to store all your snaps, you can save some money by switching to Amazon Photos and canceling your iCloud subscription.

Or you can downgrade your iCloud storage to a lower option to save on costs.

The same also applies to Android users when using a paid service.

Amazon allows you to keep your photos in full resolution.

The amount of videos you can store is limited due to their size.

So you only get 5GB worth of videos.

And if you’re not a Prime member, you get 5GB of free storage for photos and videos, so this might still be useful for some.

For those who want to store more videos, you can upgrade to 100GB for £1.49 a month.

Either way, all you need to do is download the Amazon Photos app on your phone.

It is now available for iOS and Android.
