Amani Family Services Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

FORT WAYNE, Indiana (WANE) — Amani Family Services announced Monday that it has hired a new chief operating officer (COO) to fill a vacancy since 2021.
Melissa Singh assumed the COO role, having previously served as Associate Director of the organization’s Family Justice Center.
“We are so proud to promote an internal candidate who has developed as a leader at Amani over the past two years,” said Ewelina Connolly, CEO of Amani Family Services.
A search committee of board members and employees reviewed applicants for the role through a “thorough search process,” according to Amani Family Services.
“Since joining the agency, Melissa has gradually assumed increased responsibility, collaborating on many aspects of our operations with both our clinical and administrative teams,” said Connolly.
Amani Family Services, an organization founded in 2006, serves refugee and immigrant families and individuals in Allen County.
