Air India is operating 90 all-women flights to mark International Women’s Day

NEW DELHI: Air India announced on Wednesday that it has flown over 90 all-female crew flights to mark International Women’s Day.

Air India said women make up over 40 percent of its workforce, with 275 of its 1,825 pilots being women, boasting an airline with a large number of female pilots, according to Xinhua.

“As more Indian women pursue careers in aviation, we will achieve gender equality in the workforce,” Campbell Wilson, Air India CEO and managing director, was quoted as saying by the media. –Bernama
