According to a new report, Bill Murray ‘spread’ and ‘kissed’ a production employee.

Last April when page six reported production was suspended on the directorial debut of actor and comedian Aziz Ansari, to be mortalRumor has it that famous actor and comedian Bill Murrays “handy” Behavior on the set.
“He was very touchy, not in personal areas, but would put an arm around a woman, touch her hair, tug on her ponytail — but always in a comedic way,” a source told the tabloid at the time. “It’s a fine line and everyone loves Bill, but while his behavior isn’t illegal, it made some women uncomfortable and he crossed a line.”
Well, for a new one puck report, Murray’s alleged behavior was anything but humorous and actually resulted in not only a suspension but a $100,000 severance package and a non-disclosure agreement with an unnamed female production staff member. Sources with knowledge of the incident told puck that the “much younger” employee and a witness reported the following violation:
“In a moment when the two were in close proximity to a bed that was part of the production, Murray began kissing her body and straddling her. It was perhaps an unclear piece of physical comedy, but one that was unheralded. She couldn’t move because he outweighed her, she claimed. He then kissed her on the mouth, despite both Murray and the woman wearing masks due to Covid protocols.”
murray, puck reported felt like he was “flirting” with him, and the actor later claimed he was just “joking.” However, the employee was reportedly “appalled” and interpreted the incident as “completely sexual.”
The reports filed by the employee and witnesses later reportedly reached the desks of executives at Disney and Searchlight, the companies behind the production. When staff were notified of the film’s suspension, details of the incident were not disclosed. Production on the film did not resume.
Meanwhile, Murray and the employee have reached a settlement in private arbitration with the assistance of attorneys. She was reportedly paid “just over” $100,000, and sources said she agreed to keep everything that transpired completely confidential. Disturbingly, however, that agreement included another clause: she agreed to waive any possible legal claims against those at the helm to be mortal– which of course included Disney and Searchlight.
This isn’t the first time Murray has been accused of unsavory behavior on set. Last year Lucy Liu allegedly that he used “unacceptable” language at work Charlie’s Angel. Anjelica Huston called him “a shit” in 2019 when she recalled being there Aquatic Life with Steve Zissou adjust with him. Such examples are of course only the most recent in a historic story of similar transgressions.
Murray officials did not respond to Jezebel’s request for comment.
