ABC13’s virtual job fair: Who’s Hiring offers work and employer programs to help people with disabilities

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) — This week, ABC13’s Who’s Hiring job fair features not only instant hire positions, but also employers and experts talking about how people with disabilities can find opportunities.

The Texas HireAbility Employer Forum will be held at Houston Community College on Thursday. ABC13 will stream its job fair live from the event.

During the event, ABC13 is partnering with Workforce Solutions, who have recruiters who take calls, social media messages and emails to help job seekers prepare for interviews. This week we’re featuring a range of jobs available for immediate hire that pay at least $15 an hour.

During the forum, employers and other guests will participate in a discussion on how employers prioritize an inclusive environment and how they work with people with disabilities in the recruitment and hiring process.
