A Better Trump Deal – The Vacaville Reporter

In a recent report, Donald Trump called Vladimir Putin a “genius” for invading Ukraine. It fits with Trump’s flattering adoration of Putin in recent years. An Associated Press report in The Reporter mentions that about 8,600 Russians are currently seeking political asylum in the United States.

It was Trump who wrote The Art of the Deal. How about selling Trump and a host of his most fervent January 6 insurgents, along with Ted Cruz and Marjorie Taylor Green and a cadre of Trumpist oligarchs, to the Russians?

Russia brings in a bunch of people unhappy with American democracy; People who want to follow an unprincipled, misogynist, white man, strong man.

We get some immigrants who “long to be free.” Russian asylum seekers would, of course, be told that, unlike Trump, they would have to pay their fair share of taxes.

This deal seems to have great potential to make the world a happier place.
