15-year-old Houston girl shot in the face: HPD investigation underway near Fondren and Bissonnet

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) — A 15-year-old girl is in critical condition after being shot in the face, Houston police said.

HPD’s South Gessner Patrol Officers responded Thursday afternoon to the 7200 block of Kings Gate Circle, which is just off Fondren near Bissonnet.

A Houston Police Department tweet showed a photo of crime scene tapes appearing to cordon off an apartment complex.

While the tweet contained limited details, HPD ABC13’s Major Assaults Division said the girl was hit in the face.

Nothing is known about arrests or other injuries.
